When you’re on the lookout for somewhere unique to stay, you can often find a lot of similar accommodations.

This classic 1960s sailing boat on a private lake is a far cry from the usual spots you may see.

Full of character and charm and surrounded by beautiful countryside this boat is the perfect place for a cosy break away with a loved one.

Airbnb

The boat sleeps two guests and features one bedroom. Set in the heart of a Jurassic Coast Heritage Site and located close to the quaint town of Wareham.

Staying here opens up lots of opportunities to explore the beautiful Isle of Purbeck and other nearby areas of Dorset.

Wareham boasts lots of bars, restaurants and shops and is a 20 minute walk away from the boat.

Airbnb

Entering the boat, you’re met with an open-plan living space with a comfy dining area for socialising and enjoying meals.

There is no TV or wifi on board which gives you the perfect opportunity to switch off and unwind in the peaceful countryside.

Airbnb

The kitchen features a fridge and a double hot plate. There is ample space to rustle up a delicious meal with lakeside views through the windows.

Airbnb

The bedroom is a cosy space; you can wrap yourself up in the comfortable bed and gently sway to sleep on board the bobbing boat.

You’re sure to have a well-rested and peaceful night in the quiet of the countryside.

Airbnb

Onsite, there are three shepherd huts, and the boat is used for holiday accommodation.

There is no running water on the boat, so the use of a nearby toilet is for the boat guests only. The washing-up facilities are also located in the cabin.

Airbnb

A clean and spacious shower room lets you enjoy a hot shower and use of a toilet and sink.

Airbnb

The decking outside of the boat is a tranquil spot perfect for chilled mornings and relaxing evenings watching the sunset.

A gas BBQ is located outside for guest use and comfy outdoor furniture for dining alfresco.

Airbnb

This charming boat is the perfect getaway for a romantic break or a unique break with a friend.

Many guests have returned due to loving the tranquil surroundings and wonderful countryside setting.

You won’t regret unwinding in this beautiful spot in the Purbecks.
