If you’re looking to visit a place that’s full to the brim with eclectic curiosities and delicious food then Aunt Fanny’s in Wimborne is the perfect place to go.

Set off of a country road, Aunt Fanny’s is surrounded by natural beauty giving the place a lovely vibe and the feel of getting away from busy lives with the peace and quiet and farmyard atmosphere.

When entering the Farm shop, you will come across some of the most delicious-looking cakes and desserts.

From the gigantic Victoria sponges to the jam doughnut fingers, there’s something for everyone to satisfy their sweet tooth.

The shop sells lots of local produce, such as fresh vegetables, scotch eggs, sausage rolls, cheeses, and bread.

Perfect to pick up and take home to enjoy.

If you’d prefer to eat out, then why not try the cafe?

The first thing you notice when entering the cafe is the array of eclectic furniture and quirky accessories that gives the place a lovely homely feel.

All around, there is something different to look at, and you can’t help but notice the amazing food coming from the kitchen.

There is dining inside and outside, so if you visit on a nice day, the patio area outside is the perfect setting with its laid-back seating and the many flowers that surround it.

There is an abundance of delicious food on the menu, from hearty breakfasts to classic British lunches or go for the famous Aunt Fanny’s roast dinners.

Everything is homemade and fresh as you can get.

On weekends from April – September, you can also enjoy amazing wood-fired pizzas.

Dogs are also welcome, and you might get to meet the resident furry friend, who is very friendly and likes to say hello to all the customers.

The magic of Aunt Fanny’s and what gives it its unique edge is the fact that you can visit three separate barns packed with things to buy or just to have a good look around.

The first workshop is full of gorgeous pieces of wooden furniture.

There are lots of tables, shelves, storage and dressers to look around and purchase if you want.

The workshop also makes handmade furniture and kitchens.

Next up is the Middle Vintage barn.

This is truly a barn of curiosities, full to the brim with little trinkets, retro items, and anything and everything you can think of.

The items are for sale but it’s also interesting just to go and explore.

If you hop across the car park, you will come to Absolute Artisans, with areas where local artists and sellers can sell their products.

You can spend a long time looking around each stall.

There’s a great selection of items such as candles, ironwork, clothes, paintings, jewellery, plants and so much more.

If you’re looking to treat yourself or fancy a wander around then it’s worth visiting this barn.

Outside, you can see tractors and cows, making the visit all that more special, especially when visiting with children.

Aunt Fanny’s is well known for its great food and friendly service. It is a fantastic place to spend time with friends and family.

You will always see something new and interesting, eat some great food and maybe treat yourself to some cake or a little gift from one of the barns.

If you want to know more, check out Aunt Fanny’s website. Have a lovely time visiting! And if you’ve been, let us know what you thought in the comments!
