If you’re looking for somewhere new to eat in Bournemouth town centre, then Natty’s is the place to go, providing a Jamaican food experience to the south coast of the UK.

With a fun and vibrant vibe with food full of Jamaican flavours, this is a great restaurant worth checking out.

Being creatures of habit, we can often stick to the same old routine, eating places we’ve been to a million times before.

Natty’s is excellent for people who want to try something new and enjoy great-tasting food bursting with flavour.

This could be your next favourite place to dine!

Established in Portsmouth in 2017, the owners started by making ‘food to go’ from their home. They soon had people turning up at the house; they liked it so much and wanted more!

From there, they moved on to a market stall, where Natty’s became a local favourite; people couldn’t get enough of the great-tasting food.

Natty wants to share Jamaican culture and celebrate diversity through everyone’s love of food. Bringing a sense of community, eating together and providing great service and flavoursome cuisine.

Today, you can find three Natty’s restaurants in Bournemouth, Southampton and Portsmouth.

The Bournemouth restaurant is a spacious and fun place to be.

Located in the heart of the town and close to other local attractions such as the beach and a cinema complex, it’s the perfect place to have dinner and carry on the night in Bournemouth town.

There is an outside terrace for diners to eat or you can dine in with the fun atmosphere, great music and helpful staff on hand.

The bar is also a great place to chill, selling a wide range of alcohol, cocktails, mocktails and soft drinks.

There’s plenty of seating around the bar, if you fancy, or relaxed seating dotted around the restaurant.

Great music is played giving the place a relaxed vibe but also making the place fun. There’s also lots of colour, adding to the feel of being in Jamaica.

The food is full of colour and flavour, and nothing is bland at Natty’s.

Fresh ingredients and lots of love are put into the food, with its traditional flavours mixed with a modern twist, you’ll have a party in your mouth when eating.

Even the fries have a delicious twist, with their special seasoning and sauce dripped all over giving them a great taste.

All the food is presented well with lots of colourful extras such as sauces and vegetables, giving you a treat for the senses.

As well as the jerk chicken, you can try other dishes. One that needs a special mention is the ‘Curried Goat’, dip in the Jamaican fried dumplings, and you have a winning combination exciting your taste buds.

The ‘Mac and Cheezus’ is also a notable dish that will accompany anything on the menu; who doesn’t love a bit of mac and cheese?

On Sundays, Natty’s also serves up a Sunday roast that consists of Jerk chicken, rice and peas, roast potatoes, mac and cheese, Yorkshire pudding, vegetables and jerk gravy, plus a pudding for £16.50 per person; what a fun take on a roast dinner and one we’ll be trying in the future!

Natty’s is worth a visit for the food, vibrant and fun atmosphere and friendly staff. It’s a lovely little taste of Jamaica in the heart of Bournemouth, and if the weather is just right, you might just feel like you’re really there……almost.

Thanks for reading, and enjoy!

If you want to visit, you can find them on Exeter Rd, Bournemouth BH2 5BR, or check their website or Instagram for up-to-date information, including menus.
