The Crafty Cuppa is the perfect place for all creatives out there. Situated in Dorchester and run by volunteers, it’s a cute cafe bursting with workshops and activities for you to do.

It is an excellent place to spend time doing what you love; it’s great for your mental well-being and opens up the door to new opportunities.

The cafe is a community interest company meaning all the profits go back into the business and community.

Here’s what to expect when visiting the Crafty Cuppa.

The cafe has a warm, homely and welcoming vibe. It’s perfect for anyone who may be a bit nervous about visiting and meeting new people, as everyone is friendly and will put you at ease.

There is wheelchair access, and the cafe is suitable for everyone, especially anyone who wants to get their creative juices flowing.

There is a cosy garden for you to enjoy a drink outside or doodle on the chalkboard wall.

There’s nothing better than having a catch-up with friends and indulging in a large slice of cake.

The cafe serves cakes and hot and cold drinks. 90% of the cakes are gluten-free and lovingly made by one of the volunteers.

The food is handmade and locally sourced. Ice cream is also available with vegan, diabetic, and dog options.

What makes the Crafty Cuppa so special is the workshops that are held here.

Socialise with friends and learn a new art. Examples of some of the workshops on offer are rainbow macrame, calligraphy, kid’s holiday crafts, wreath making and more.

If you’re a local artisan, then you can also sell your creations at the Crafty Cuppa, giving you the opportunity to showcase your work and make some extra cash.

This cafe is a great way to meet like-minded people and enjoying time doing what you love can be the perfect day out, suitable for everyone and sure to provide lots of fun.
