Relax In This Shepherd’s Hut With Scenic Views And Silent Nights In Dorset

When you think of staying a night or two away somewhere, you want somewhere that’s going to stand out and not going to drain your bank account.

This Shepherd’s hut in The Purbecks will blow you away with the tranquil and beautiful surroundings, the affordable price and the unconventional accommodation.

If you want to go to sleep in complete silence, then I recommend this hut; not only is it the quietest place ever but it’s also in one of the best places in Dorset.

Based in the stunning Purbecks, this shepherd’s hut is between Corfe Castle and Swanage, giving you lots of opportunities to go out and explore.

Inside this tiny home away from home; you’ll notice a charming dresser, setting the countryside theme with its lovely crockery and ‘knick-knacks ‘, making the hut cosy and welcoming.

Although the hut is small this adds to the comfortable charm of the place. The bed is welcoming, with fresh, clean sheets and clean towels. The kingsize bed is wall-to-wall, but that makes it all the more intimate and fun for a night away.

The accommodation offers another small building with a flushable toilet and a small kitchen area complete with a sink, kettle, cooking hobs, fridge and utensils.

This area is more spacious and you’ll be able to prepare a snack or bite to eat in there and eat outside on the table and chairs outside of the hut.

You can also have a private outdoor shower; it will feel a little strange showering outside, but once you get over showering in the open, you’ll feel refreshed and ready for the day.

There’s even a wood burner if you’re staying in the cooler months of the year.

The room is bright, with windows on each side of the hut and the door opens up to the amazing country outside.

There is also a BBQ and a firepit for you to enjoy in the warmer months.

When staying in a place and location like this, you’re probably on the hunt for adventure, and space isn’t too much of a worry as you have a vast amount of countryside to roam around in and the town of Swanage to spend time exploring.

Not forgetting the small but charming village of Corfe Castle which is full of history, lots of walks and pubs to enjoy.

The views from the hut are amazing, and what gives it that special touch is the steam train travelling between Swanage and Corfe Castle.

You’ll be delighted by the magnificent views and the tooting of the train as it travels past your window.

The Shepherd hut will comfortably sleep two people, but the accommodation has enough surrounding space for you to pitch up a tent.

You can bring a few more people along to enjoy the experience and relax with friends and family.

The area is gated, making it a private area for no one else to use, and you can park your car here, too.

This is not one to miss; with the amazing price tag and stunning surrounding areas, you’ll want to book a night as soon as you can!

With lots of walks available around the area, there is a lovely walk from the hut to Swanage; on your way, you’ll be surrounded by mother nature, see amazing views and may even spot some sheep.

Have a lovely time, and thank you for reading.
