The Den is the place to go if you’re a lover of interiors, furniture, vintage finds and classic retro items.

It is jam-packed with items that are handmade, preloved or brand new, all ready for you to snap up and display in your house or wear with pride.

Even if you’re not looking to buy anything, The Den is great for a wander around and to spend a few hours exploring the many crevices of the building full of treasure.

Located in Unit 9, 11 – 15 Francis Avenue, Bournemouth, BH11 8NX, you are sure to have fun roaming around this unique emporium.

The space is vast with a wide range of interesting finds from over 100 individual traders, artists and makers.

The Den is open 7 days a week, giving everyone an opportunity to come in and tour the wall-to-wall stock.

‘The Kitchen’ is the onsite cafe, selling traditional English breakfast to light lunches such as sandwiches and jacket potatoes.

The cafe has a cool, relaxed, eclectic vibe with lots of cool sofas and seating. Cosy corners to enjoy a cup of coffee and a slice of cake, to catch up with friends and chill.

There’s even a basket of blankets for you to wrap in if you really want to get comfortable.

The cakes are huge and delicious. You’ll find it hard to resist from the many on offer, such as a classic Victoria sponge to a tasty Jaffa Cake cake.

The sandwiches are also delicious, notably the bacon, brie and cranberry and a classic ham and cheese toastie.

The Den is divided into sections, giving independent traders an opportunity to ‘set up shop’, putting all their items on display how and when they want to.

Each shop has something unique and eye-catching and is full of trinkets, ornaments, games, toys and more.

Many furniture sections offer upcycled pieces and vintage classics. If you’re someone always on the lookout for something to spice up your interiors, then you’ll struggle to leave empty-handed.

There are sections for antiques that will interest anyone who is into historic pieces and classic collector’s items.

The Den is also bursting with pottery from all eras, and you’ll be transported back to items you remember seeing in houses during your childhood or even something you owned in the past and had forgotten about.
