Lyme Regis is on the Dorset and Devon border, and whilst visiting, you get your fill of fish and chips, pasties and cream teas.

As delicious as they are, you can often start to feel heavy and tired after eating.

If you’re looking for something that is healthy, bursting with flavour and full of tasty goodness then a trip to the Red Panda is a must when in the area.

Outside the Red Panda. It’s takeaway only.

The owners of the Red Panda, Natalie and James, are on a mission to make street food healthier.

Offering nutrient-packed and Asian inspired meal boxes to take away that are flavoursome and good for you.

Using sources and condiments made in their farm kitchen in Devon and fresh ingredients, it’s the perfect spot to grab a bite to eat.

The Red Panda menu. It’s simple, but everything is flavorful.

Whether you’re a lover of bao buns or want to opt for a salad box, the menu gives you enough choices to pick what’s best for you.

The Red Panda is a takeaway service but it’s not much of a problem as the shop is a stone’s throw from the beach, giving lots of places to sit and an amazing view whilst you eat.

💡 What is a bao bun? It is soft, fluffy, steamed Asian bread, which can be filled with a number of ingredients.

The bao and salad box. The Bao bun is so light and fluffy.

Each box comes with the Red Pandas’ signature salads. Healthy, nourishing salads that are far from boring and fully flavoured.

Giving you tasty and fresh Asian flavours that will leave you wanting to eat at the Red Panda every day.

Everything is vegan except the meat. The choice of filling for the boxes are pork belly, chicken satay, teriyaki tofu and doubanjiang tofu.

I had to be careful seagulls didn’t still my food for this pic 🙂

There are public benches just outside the shop to sit and enjoy your food if they’re available or you can make the short trip to the beach.

Look out for the seagulls, as they will take your food!

This was the Pork rice and salad box, and it was delicious! The pork was perfection.

Other delicious Asian-style ingredients and toppings that go into the boxes are kimchi (good for gut health), carrot and radish pickle, peanut powder, crispy chilli and homemade vegan sriracha mayo.

As well as the beautiful boxes on offer, you can also grab a cold drink, crisps or even pick up a pot of the Red Panda homemade chilli crisp.

The Red Panda is a brilliant place to visit, especially if you love Asian food; it’s worth going just to try the delicious flavours and homestyle cooking.

Enjoy!
