Stepping into The Station Kitchen in West Bay, Bridport, you’re in for a treat that’s a bit out of the ordinary.

There are 3 areas in the Station Kitchen. The 2 carriages and the station. All with decor that is charming and quirky.
This is the Station House, a charming dog-friendly dining area.
Brunel, the first cartridge they opened, was used in World War 1 as a makeshift ambulance in France. It was built in 1911, making her older than the Titanic. This carriage is their main dining area.
There is also a second, more recent addition to The Station Kitchen called Beeching. This serves as an area for pre-dinner cocktails or even a post-dinner nightcap.
This cartridge was built in 1958 and, as you can see, has been refurbished to a high standard.
It isn’t just the decor that is high-standard; their food is as well. It has been twice awarded the AA Rosette, an award recognizing culinary excellence in the United Kingdom and Ireland.
The Station Kitchen also caters to all dietary requirements, including gluten-free, coeliac, dairy, nut allergies, and more.
They place a strong emphasis on seafood because they are gifted with the wonderful ocean around them.
