Most people who visit the seaside love ice cream, right? There’s nothing better than tucking into a cold, sweet treat with amazing views of the ocean.

Eating an ice cream on the beach is as natural as breathing and is a must!

(Maybe not as necessary as breathing, but you get the point)

In the secluded spot of Newtons Cove in Weymouth you can find the home to the biggest Mr Whippy in the UK.

This gigantic ice cream towers at roughly a foot long. Although it’s huge in every sense of the word, you can pick one up for just £3.25.

It is extremely well-priced and is crying out for anyone to have a go at finishing it.

Mr Whippy’s are a national treasure and have been since 1958. Dominic Facchino founded the brand after visiting America and seeing the Mr Softee ice cream trucks in action.

He brought the idea over to the UK, and it’s been a favourite with Brits ever since.

The soft ice cream is usually a small serving topped with a chocolate flake and served in a wafer-like ice cream cone.

But these bad boys are a far cry from a small serving.

The place that serves these giant Mr Whippy’s is a small brick hut, typically found on the seafront and has no name.

However, if you visit Newtons Cove you’ll find out where the hut is as it’s located on the cove, you’ll also probably see a few people balancing their ice creams!

Are you ready to try this mammoth ice cream?

Will you be able to finish it?

Let us know on Facebook or Instagram, we can’t wait to try one ourselves.

Enjoy!
