Baba Yaga’s Boudoir is a beautiful retreat in Whitchurch Canonicorum, a small, pretty village in Dorset.
With lots of countryside, beaches and other busier towns such as Lyme Regis and Bridport close by, full of shops and great places to eat, this will be the perfect spot for a short break away with a loved one.
Built with creativity and reclaimed resources, Baba Yaga’s Boudoir offers a unique and quirky place to stay, set out in the country but with all the home comforts you want and need.
Baba Yaga’s Boudoir is a small cabin on wheels snugly sat at the bottom of a small farm.
The tiny home overlooks a wild pond and offers lots of amazing views from the windows, surrounded by nature and wildlife.
Walking into the living space will give you a warm and homely vibe, with lots of light coming in through the many windows.
For cooler nights, there is a log burner to warm the cabin up, and reading a book is guaranteed to relax you and help you unwind.
There is no TV; however, there is strong wifi if you want to stay connected to the outside world.
The accommodation is only suitable for two guests (not suitable for children) and, although small, offers enough room to get cosy and spend some quality time together.
The perfect mix of natural and raw furnishings gives the cabin a rustic edge but is full of homely touches without making it too crowded.
The kitchen is equipped with all the essentials you need to rustle up a romantic meal for two.
Guests will find a fridge, cooker, oven, dishes, cutlery and more; a small breakfast bar gives guests the perfect spot to enjoy a meal.
What gives Baba Yaga’s Boudoir a fun touch is the ladder up to the bedroom; this gives more living space to the cabin and offers extra storage for your stay.
The bedroom is the perfect spot for a cosy night in. With a large window and a cute porthole for you to lie back and admire the natural surroundings whilst staying comfortable in bed.
Climbing up to this bedroom haven will bring out the child in you; there was nothing more fun than sleeping in the top bunk bed or somewhere different, and the same feeling will come flooding back.
There is fantastic outside space with a delightful decking area, outside furniture and a chiminea to keep you warm as the nights get cooler.
It’s the perfect place to dine, stargaze, practice yoga or enjoy a glass of wine. The natural surroundings will provide birdsong and bring happiness to anyone who visits this quirky, cool and unique tiny home.
There is a compost loo and a hot shower available for guests also.
Off-road parking is provided and is a 150m walk away from the cabin; guests are advised to take care around the area as there is a wastewater willow system, which contains a series of ponds, some hidden by shrubbery, so it’s recommended not to explore around that area.
This is a unique and natural retreat, giving guests lots of reasons to stay and relax for a short break.
With lots of towns accessible and beaches such as Charmouth close by, you’ll be able to explore many iconic spots in Dorset during your stay.
Please note the cabin doesn’t accept pets.
