If you like playing retro games, you will fall in love with Insanity Gaming Arcade in Poole. They have classics such as Sonic, Mario Kart, Street Fighter, Time Crisis, Guitar Hero, pinball machines and much more.
This arcade will bring you down memory lane with its retro game selection. But it’s not all retro, they even have modern games, such as Fortnite and Fifa (now FC), for the more current gaming experience.
Insanity Gaming Arcade is tucked away in the industrial estate in Poole. This nostalgic paradise offers a one, two, or three-hour slot, and then you can play as much as you want, as all games are set to free play.
The time flies by once you start playing.
They have shoot ’em ups, driving, console games, and more. There are lots of shooting games, but one of my favourites is Time Crisis. The guns have recoil, which makes the gaming even more fun.
Fancy a race? There are plenty of driving games to choose from.
Insanity Gaming Arcade has lots of different consoles, such as the Sega Dreamcast! They have the classic game Soul Calibur. 😍
When I was a kid, you were either a Mario or a Sonic player, and I was the latter. It’s classic, and I spent many hours playing it as a child! No sleep until Dr. Robotnik was defeated! It’s truly one of my favourites.

It’s not all gaming consoles and arcade games. There are even a few classic pinball machines. You don’t see many of these around anymore.
When you get thirsty or hungry and need to refuel, you can grab snacks and hot food from the bar area.
They do hot dogs, burgers, shakes and other treats.
Upstairs, they have some classic games such as Street Fighter and more modern games like Fortnite and Mario Strikers: Battle League Football on the Switch.
They also have a foosball table.
Plus, a cool Sonic air hockey table is downstairs!
