Situated along Poole High Street, Wild Roots stands out from the crowd, with its beautiful window displays and eye-catching plants inviting you to explore the jungle inside.

The director of Wild Roots, Hope Dean and her team are extremely knowledgeable and welcoming when entering the shop.

Whether you’re nervous and want advice on plant keeping or want to chat about a certain plant, the staff are on hand to chat and offer guidance.

When entering the store, you will be amazed at the abundance of healthy and vibrant plants. There are plenty for you to explore, and prices vary.

The rustic and natural decor instantly creates a calm and homely feel so you can wander around the store without feeling overwhelmed, and there’s something to suit everyone.

There are a number of health benefits from owning plants, each one improving your way of life, from better air quality, improved mental health, better productivity, reduced stress levels and more.

New plants come in regularly, and you can find some unique and amazing varieties, from banana plants with their tall, stripy appearance to the Chinese money plant with its round, unusual leaves.

Carnivorous plants, in particular, are show stoppers, from Venus fly traps to the Parrot Pitcher with its wavy and tube-like appearance. (Pictured above)
