Gullivers Farm Shop and Kitchen is a delightful place situated in West Moors in Ferndown.
Not only does the kitchen serve some of the most delicious organic food around, but it’s also very family-friendly and offers a cute play area and nature trail for children to enjoy.
The site is on a biodynamic working farm, which means the produce is grown without chemicals and produced using the highest possible animal welfare standards.
A lot of the produce is available to buy in the shop and used in the kitchen.
An excellent deal is children’s meals are £1 when bought with an adult’s meal; everyone can enjoy mouthwatering food that is worth every penny.
If you’re looking for somewhere to spend a few hours with the family and a good place to eat, then Gullivers should be next on your list of places to go.
Founded in 2015, Gullivers is a social enterprise and a charity (part of Sturts Community Trust) providing support and opportunities to adults with varying support needs.
They believe in empowering people; the staff has their own responsibilities and expertise in a supportive and helpful environment to help them shine and feel happy and confident.
The staff are all very helpful and on hand for anything you need and the atmosphere is a happy and relaxed vibe.
Inside the award-winning farm shop, you’ll come across a wide range of local goods, organic produce and ethical alternatives for the body, mind and home.
There are fresh kitchen treats from the deli, such as sausage rolls, scotch eggs, quiche and coleslaw to eat in or to take away.
Locally-made beer, wines and spirits, chocolate, bath products, candles and more are on offer also.
Outside, you’ll find seasonal fruit and vegetables for sale, all grown on the farm.
There’s a milk pump giving visitors the opportunity to fill up a refillable bottle (or one can be purchased from the shop for £5) and different flavourings to create a flavoured milkshake.
The cafe offers amazing locally sourced meals and light bites.
The quality of the food goes unmatched with the delicious fresh tastes of everything and the beautiful presentation.
The breakfast may be slightly more priced than a greasy spoon, but it’s worth every penny, and you’ll feel nicely full rather than sluggish and tired.
The seating area offers seating inside, a terrace area (pictured) and lots of picnic tables in the orchard garden.
There’s a quiet, relaxed vibe to enjoy a meal with friends and family.
