The High Cross Camping Coach and Living Van is a unique and quirky find and would provide an excellent few nights away. The classic aesthetic of the place and the lovely restored features will make you feel relaxed and will provide great photo opportunities.

The property is situated in Bridport. There are many things to do in and around the area, such as hiking, horse riding and fishing. There is also the Bridport market twice a week, and the high street is full of independent shops to explore. You can visit West Bay Beach, which is close by, or explore Lyme Regis, which is only 20 minutes away.

The High Cross Camping Coach and Living Van accommodation welcomes families with children over 3 and is dog-friendly.

Vrbo

The carriage is beautiful, and the colours and little touches make this space special. It has been restored, keeping many of the authentic detailing such as brass lamps, window straps and sliding sash windows.

In the main saloon, there is a large seat that can be transformed into a double bed.

Vrbo

In the High Cross Camping Coach there is a dining table and chairs to enjoy a meal or a nice cup of tea. There are lots of windows letting in lots of natural light, and you can enjoy the stunning views of meadows and hills in the distance.

There is also a fully restored French ‘Monopole’ circa 1910 coal stove to keep you warm if staying in the cooler months.

Vrbo

There is a kitchen just off of the main saloon, which hosts a wide range of items to make your stay more enjoyable. You can find a microwave, toaster, kettle, two ring induction hob and enough space for you to prepare some delicious meals.

Even the washing up can be enjoyable with the lovely views surrounding the property.

There is also a fully flushable W/C and a shower room, complete with some countryside views.

Vrbo

Outside there is a small neatly kept enclosed garden for you to enjoy, with excellent views and a great place to watch the sunset after a leasurly day out in Dorset.

Included in the booking you can find the living van in the garden. Similar to a shepherd’s hut but larger in size.

Vrbo

Inside, there is a communal area for you and your family to enjoy, with seating and a table. In the evenings this can be turned into 2 single beds. Children (and adults alike) will love sleeping in the unique hut in the garden.

There is also another carriage with additional comfy seating and a table. The accommodation provides a few games and books to enjoy, so this is the perfect place to bond with your family over a board game.

If you’re looking for somewhere unusual to stay, then this is the place for you. With its beautiful exteriors and warm, welcoming interiors, this is not one to miss!
