Camp Bestival began in 2008 and is the brainchild of Josie and Rob da Bank. Josie is a well-respected artist and illustrator, and Rob is a former Radio 1 DJ.
They aim to provide a classic festival experience filled with non-stop entertainment for all ages.
As the years have passed, the festival has grown each year, becoming a cherished tradition for many families.
Situated in the beautiful grounds of Lulworth Castle, the site is a huge, colourful paradise filled with fun activities, music acts, delicious food stalls, fairground rides, children’s entertainment and more!
People of all ages can experience the joy of festivals whilst being completely family-oriented.
As well as little ones in mind, there’s also lots for the grown-ups.
Many big names have headlined Camp Bestival through the years, such as Pete Tong, Craig David, McFly, Fat Boy Slim, Calvin Harris and so on…this year is no exception.
Friday
Start the weekend off right with the Friday lineup.
You’ll see some amazing acts take to the stage at Lulworth, including renowned DJ Goldie, who will be playing a DJ set you won’t want to miss, featuring drum and bass and some classic jungle tracks.
If indie rock is more your style, then The Zutons will be blasting out their upbeat tunes, such as “Valerie” and “Why Won’t You Give Me Your Love?”
Topping off Friday night is The Sugababes.
Bringing you all things pop!
The Sugababes formed in 1998 and have had an extensive career, releasing numerous hits, including “Push the Button,” “Round Round,” and “Overload.”
Grab your dancing shoes (or wellies), cover yourself in glitter, and start the weekend as you mean to go on!
Friday is also filled with numerous activities and music acts for the little ones; they can dance, laugh, and participate in all sorts of fun and games.
Some include, MC Grammer, Dogshow, local talent James B Partridge – Primary School Bangers, Rock Kids and more!
Expect confetti, glowsticks and happy faces all around.

Saturday
Saturday is jam-packed with entertainment from start to finish.
Big names such as Annie Mac, Greg Wilson and Mia Kirkland bring you non-stop dance music to really make you feel alive and get you moving.
Look out for Rob da Bank himself giving you a DJ vs DJ set with Joe Marler.
Headlining the main stage on Saturday night is the brilliant electronic duo Basement Jaxx, putting everyone in the mood with their many great hits such as “Romeo”, “Where’s Your Head At” and “Do Your Thing”
There are big names for the kids on Saturday, with Camp Bestival regular Mr Tumble gracing the stage, full of entertainment and music that will have little ones in awe.
Mr Maker, Rascal Raves, Dick and Dom and lots more are there to bring happiness to little festival goers.

Sunday
The last day, but definitely not the least!
Bringing you lots of joy and energy with The Cuban Brothers, cool vibes at Chris Hawkins’ Indie Disco, and a reggae set like no other with David Rodigan.
A big star finishes off the weekend, Sir Tom Jones. With his career spanning over five decades, he is no stranger to putting on a show.
Expect it to be lively and full of classics such as “sexbomb”, “she’s a lady” and “delilah”, you’ll find it impossible not to get caught up in the fun, singing at the top of your lungs.
Little ones can experience one of the best children’s raves going with Junior Jungle hitting the stage, with their energetic and uplifting set getting everyone involved and moving to the beat.
Just walking past the tent, you’ll be drawn into the crazy world of Nick Terrific and MC Rocky Patch.
Watch Horrible Histories live on stage, with the brilliant production of Gorgeous Georgians and Vile Victorians or dance along with Vote Pedro, a mariachi-style cover band, combining traditional Mexican instrumentation with modern tunes.
In true Camp Bestival tradition, the fireworks spectacular rounds off the weekend nicely, a huge display above the iconic Lulworth Castle, featuring music and projections onto the castle to add to the magic.

Did You Know?
Each year, a theme for fancy dress is set for the weekend. It’s not mandatory to dress up, but it certainly adds to the experience.
The whole family can get involved, and you can really go wild with your creative ideas.
This year’s theme is The World’s Biggest Pyjama Party!
Saturday is dress-up day, and the bigger the better when it comes to embracing the theme.
There is a mega fancy dress competition on the Saturday, and the best (fancy) dressed family will win tickets for next year’s Camp Bestival 2026.
