Head on over to Santa-Fe Fun Park in Swanage if you’re after some simple, good old-fashioned fun.

This isn’t your everyday amusement park, it’s a family-run business that’s been around since 1965.

They’re open seasonally, so make sure to catch them when the sun’s out. The park sits on a hill a hill with a pretty cool view of the sea. It’s definitely worth checking out.

They’ve got your usual fairground goodies. The attractions are aimed at children but if you’re up for a bit of friendly competition, try out their crazy golf.

They’ve got a Pirate Adventure and a Jurassic Dinosaur Adventure mini-golf course. And if you fancy some arcade action, they’ve got that covered too.

Their Hungry Shark Restaurant will sort you out when your stomach starts to grumble.

The place is known for dishing up the best burgers in town (their words), so give that a go.

If burgers aren’t your thing, don’t sweat it, they’ve got a pretty decent menu with plenty of other stuff to choose from, including vegetarian dishes.

So, if you’re looking for things to do in Swanage with your family or friends, Santa-Fe Fun Park is a solid bet for an hour or two of fun.

Don’t just take my word for it, swing by and see for yourself.

Enjoy!

Shortly before the pedestrian crosswalk, turn left onto the next one-way street, Station Place. At the end of this road, you’ll find the short-term parking lot directly ahead.

For the long-term car park: Continue on A351 (Victoria Avenue) into Swanage where signs for Main Beach Car Park are prominently displayed. The parking lot will be on your right. The amusement park is a brief walk from there, towards the central area of the seafront.

If you’re walking from the train station: Head down Station Road, located just beyond the mini round-about. After a brief walk, take a left into Mermond Place (a sign for Jurasic Golf will be visible). Ascend the steps from there, which lead directly to Santa-Fe fun park.

Born and raised in Dorset, I've lived most my entire life in Poole and Bournemouth. I have a deep appreciation for my local area and a passion for travelling. The best hikes for me are in the pouring rain—there's nothing quite like it!
