Kart racing is a motorsport discipline using vehicles known as go-karts. The four-wheeled karts are raced on scaled-down circuits and are a popular activity for all the family to enjoy.

Whether you’re an adrenaline junkie, a seasoned driver or a beginner and if you like fast-paced adventure, then we’ve found the ultimate place to enjoy all of the above.

South Coast Karting offers daredevils lots of various events and packages guaranteed to give you a fun and thrilling experience.

It is the company’s mission to make it a fast, fun and safe environment.

Located near Bournemouth airport and a short distance from the town centre, South Coast Karting is a family-run and managed business by father Ray and his two sons, George & Jim Lovell.

Together, they have years of knowledge and experience under their belts, having worked in the motorsport industry and taken part in (and won) multiple championships.

South Coast Karting was established in 2017 and was rebranded and relocated from Matchems Karting, which has been around since 2004.

Rain or shine, whatever the weather, the track is open all year around. It is well-lit during nighttime, and everything is in place for lots of fun and keeping it as safe as possible.

Visiting the track is perfect for anyone looking for adventure, timed sessions, family trips, corporate events, hen and stag dos and more.

An example of the timed sessions is an (Adult 13 years+) and Cadet (ages 8-12) in which you’re provided with the race suits and helmets and given a safety briefing before starting your race.

Once you have all the gear, it is time to test your driving skills and go, go, go!

It’s the perfect hobby for lovers of F1 and can unleash your competitive streak.

Once the race is up, you can find out your timing and whether you have made it to the leaderboard with the professional timing software.

The family sessions can be arranged so that the adult and cadet karts can go on the track at the same time.

Other event packages are available which are perfect for stags, hens and corporate events and they include The Mini Prix, Grand Prix and Super Prix.

Race your friends and try to get to first place on the podium presentation.

Championship packages are another fun experience, perfect for anyone wanting to drive in an organised race series.

Everything is provided for you by South Coast Karting, but if you want to use your own race wear, you’re welcome to.

After all the thrill-seeking, you can relax at the Track Side Diner, which provides hot and cold drinks, snacks and light bites.

This is the ultimate time out for anyone looking for an exciting adventure. The friendly and knowledgeable staff are brilliant, providing you with lots of tips and keeping you safe during your experience.
