One of the most notable parts of this walk is coming across Melbury House. A breathtaking Grade I listed English country house.
The house is closed to the public. However, it doesn’t stop you from admiring the beauty of the mansion.
💡 Evershot is a small village with around 200 inhabitants. Very little has changed over time, and it shows with the beautiful thatched cottages and pretty buildings. The village is most famous for featuring in Thomas Hardy’s literature, most recognised in ‘Tess of the d’Urbervilles’
