If you’re looking for an activity that will build your confidence, step you out of your comfort zone and is suitable for ages 4 and up, then the RockReef in Bournemouth is a spot you have to try out.

RockReef is found on Bournemouth Pier and is an indoor climbing experience.

So if you find yourself at a loose end and the children are bored and climbing the walls at home then get down to the pier, release some energy and climb some walls that were made for it.

With up to 25 different climbing walls with varying challenges, everyone can have a go and challenge themselves to get to a more difficult wall.

Doing an adventurous activity like this will improve problem-solving skills, promote positivity and good mental health and leave everyone feeling great.

There are a number of different zones to try out.

Can you brave it on the vertical slide?

Be pulled up to 25 feet in the air, and when you’re ready, let go and feel the wind in your hair as you slide down to the bottom.

If you’re feeling really brave, why not try the leap of faith?

Climb to the top and JUMP!

You can also test your skills out on the Highline air adventure course. Climb through the swinging logs, crawl through the tunnel and try the sloping walk, all from 20 feet in the air.

Completing this will boost anyone’s mood and is a fantastic way to get some exercise without it being boring.

Try out Pier Cove, three tunnels with varying difficulties to explore.

You can crawl, climb, twist and turn, adventuring with a helmet and light through the darkness.

There’s even a ball pit to play in after conquering the dimly lit tunnels.

An exciting add-on to the RockReef is the pier zip line.

The world’s first pier-to-shore zip wire. Zip through the air and take in the amazing views of the sea and Bournemouth.

You’ll feel energised and uplifted when reaching the beach and will want to go again!

The RockReef has a cafe serving lots of family-friendly light bites from pizza, toasties, ice cream, milkshakes and beverages.

Keeping you refreshed and filling hungry bellies after completing the rock climbing walls.

Reasonably priced for such a fun-packed activity centre, this is a great place to go.

Family tickets are available, and group discounts, hen, and stag dos can also be held here, providing a unique activity full of laughter.

Being situated on the pier gives you great views, and you can enjoy other places on the pier such as restaurants, bars and amusements.

Thanks for reading, and enjoy! For more information, visit their website or go visit them at Bournemouth Pier, Bournemouth BH2 5AA.
